Y.B. Chavan Competitive Examination Guidance Centre, Karad

Architect of modern Maharashtra,great visionary and son of Karad honorable Shri Yashwantrao Balwantrao Chauhan founded Shri Shivaji Education Society, Karad's Board For Higher Education in 1958 to provide quality education to the students from Karad and surrounding area.

With the blessings from honorable Y B Chavan Saheb and under the chairmanship of late PD Patil Saheb,In the same year Sanstha started its science college Karad (now Yashwantrao Chavan College of science Karad) and in 1971 arts and commerce College Karad now (Venutai Chavan College Karad )was started.Both the colleges are well known for its excellence in Shivaji University Kolhapur as well as in Western Maharashtra and its credit goes to the vision, planning and hard work of contemporary chairman of the Sanstha honorable Shri P.D.Patil Saheb.

After the sad demise of honorable Sri PD Patil Saheb in 2008 his son and our guide Minister honorable Sri Balasaheb Patil is looking after the Sanstha as its chairman the Sanstha is progressing under the able guidance of the General Secretary for board for higher education of the Sanstha Shri Altaf Hussain Mulla Saheb.Because of the hard work and the planning of the Sanstha management the beautiful educational campus of the Sanstha developed with the excellent facilities.

The horizons of traditional education competitive examinations and other related courses are exponding day by day. Students and their parents are demanding and expecting proper guidance in these areas.The sanshta decided to start 'YB Chavan Competitive Examination Guidance Centre' looking into the continuous demand by the students and their parents in 2017 on the occasion of 'Gudi Padawa' ( first day of Marathi calender )

Competitive Examination Guidance Centre has become important because students have to face a tough competition to get a job after their graduation and post graduation.Honorable late Shri Y B Chavan marked mark his stamp as a minister of different cabinets in the central government with his studios,cultured and friendly nature. He was worldwide known as Y B Chavan in the administrative and political circle of Delhi.To express gratitude towards his achievements,the sanstha decided to name its competitive centre has Y B Chavan Competitive Examination Guidance Centre.
